For your convenience, CARFAST's vehicles are equipped with electronic plates devices or Via Verde. While driving in Portugal, this service ensures a more convenient solution because it allows the driver to pay all fees due from passing through the electronic tolling systems in portuguese roads, highways and bridges. Passing through highways or former SCUT (A28, A4, A41, A42, A17, A25, A29, A22, A23 e A24) subjects the payment of a toll fee.

This service should be requested upon the vehicle's booking/pick-up and it implies the presentation of a valid credit card and an authorization in the "General Rental Conditions", an integral part of the contract. The due toll fees will be paid upon the vehicle's return. The uncollected toll fees will be charged in the client's credit card within 30 days of the vehicle's return, without any further costs. This service entails a fee of 1,85€/day with a maximum of 18,45€/ rental.
